This ultra-glamorous vintage Escada evening gown is from the 1980s and reminiscent of the super coveted Yves Saint Laurent velvet evening dresses from the time, which are very similar in terms of cut and material. The material is just wonderful - a fluid, silky-soft velvet with a leopard pattern in dark brown with a silvery shimmering finish. The cut is slim and sculptural, with padded shoulders, a v-neckline, narrow waist and floor-length skirt with a rounded, high-slit hem. The long sleeves end with six silk-covered buttons. Zipper at the back. No material label, probably silk or rayon. Made in West Germany.
